Need some extra help?
We will use a variety of computer applications and websites in our classroom to help us extend our math skills. Here are a few websites to go to if you would like extra help, more worksheets, or to play some math related games.
This website will allow you to register for an account and set your grade level and current state standards. Students will gradually work through levels and skills to show mastery. If you would like to see your students' progress, email Mrs. Rawlins and she can link you to your students account!
Xtra math allows students to race against the computer and ensure that students can recall simple math facts without the use of counters or calculators.
Khan Academy is an online directory base that allows you to search for specific lesson examples. A teacher will give extra examples of whatever concept the student is working on and possibly teach them a different method for working out a problem.
Math-Aids is a free website that will allow you to search any math topic or grade level and find worksheets for extra practice.
As always, Mrs. Rawlins is open to answer questions in class, or if help is needed after class, email is the best option.
